My spirit is grounded

My spirit is grounded.

I am whole and centered. I connect with my body and mind. I observe my thoughts and listen to my body. I am aware of myself and my surroundings.

I slow down. I pause in between tasks and collect my thoughts. I focus on one thing at a time. I turn off the television and limit my time on social media.

I take deep breaths. I relax each time I exhale and take in energy each time I inhale.

I enjoy soothing activities. I work in my garden or read a novel. I bake cookies or practice Tai Chi.

I spend time outdoors. Appreciating nature helps me to feel grateful and happy. I recognize that I am part of something larger than myself.

I accept mental and physical discomfort. Minor irritations and aches become more bearable when I stop resisting them. I treat myself with compassion and carry on with my responsibilities.

I build strong relationships. Knowing that I can turn to my family and friends during difficult times makes me feel more protected and secure. Allowing others to know me and love me increases my confidence and helps me to value myself.

I rely on my faith. I meditate and pray. I talk with spiritual friends. I clarify my values and align my actions with my beliefs. I remember my purpose in life and concentrate on my priorities.

Today, I feel solid, present, and relaxed. Being grounded helps me to stay calm and productive regardless of what is going on around me.
