My thoughts are positive.

I approach life with enthusiasm and an upbeat attitude. I chose kind and encouraging words when I speak to myself. My internal dialogue gives me motivation and hope.

I learn from experience and focus on solutions. I remain calm and happy when I run into setbacks. I know that I can discover valuable lessons in any situation and use them to grow stronger.

I forgive others and myself. I bounce back from disappointments. I believe in second chances.

I surround myself with support. I build meaningful connections with family, friends, and colleagues. We help each other through difficult times and celebrate each other’s victories. I feel happy and secure knowing that I have others who care about me.

I manage stress. I take breaks while I am working to avoid becoming burnt out. I recover from a hard day at work by taking a brisk walk around my neighborhood or soaking in a warm bath.

I observe my thoughts. I pay attention to what is on my mind.

It is easier for me to stay upbeat if I deal with any concerns quickly. If I find myself becoming frustrated or sad, I change my perspective. A conflict can become an opportunity to try out new responses or offer comfort.

I smile and laugh. Looking happy lifts my spirits. I find the humor in burnt dinners and traffic jams.

Today, I take control of how I think and feel. I am committed to staying positive.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. How does positive thinking affect my health? 2. How does advocating for myself help me to maintain a cheerful attitude? 3. Why does positive thinking lead to positive results?
